Updates to Sword of the Stars II have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:[br][br]Critical Fixes:[br]+ Fixed a ship module sound issue that could potentially cause leaks.[br]+ Optimized code that was contributing to longer turn times and slower combat.[br]+ Fixed a bug that was causing combat to be initiated when no ships[br]were present.[br]+ Fixed the issue where invisible enemy fleets could still be selected[br]on the star map.[br]+ Fixed the bug where additional armor layers were not being carried[br]over into combat.[br]+ Fixed the issue where the strategic AI was not researching outside[br]of initial core technologies.[br][br]Other Fixes:[br]+ Addressed known bad turret arcs on numerous ship sections.[br]+ Fixed known issues with combat AI assigning objectives to ships.[br]+ Fixed issues with the design screen weapon panel not closing.[br]+ Fixed the intermittent bug that would cause icons not to be laid out[br]correctly when switching ships in the design screen.[br]+ Added missing combat sensor icons.[br]+ Fixed the bug where simulated and full combat start positions would differ.[br]+ Numerous fixes to known issues with Psionics effects in combat.[br]+ Fixed Neutron Round and Accelerated Amplification effects.[br]+ Fixed some issues where star system ownership visuals could get out[br]of sync in the star map.[br]+ Addressed known issues with disruptors and deflectors.[br]+ Addressed known issues with minelayers.[br]+ Rapidly clicking buttons will no longer bypass feasibility studies.[br]+ Slave discs now attach to ships other than Scavengers.[br]+ Made some changes to address the strategic AI spending itself to death.[br]+ Fixed an issue where COL launchers were not orienting to face the target.[br]+ Addressed known issues with node lines and fleet travel.[br]+ Fixed some issues with fleets showing up behind routes.[br]+ Fixed a bug where fleet pathing would sometimes return an incomplete route.[br]+ Addressed known issues with DLC materials.[br]+ Fixed a bug related to colonizing systems with more than one colony.[br]+ Fixed a bug with armor alignment on tooltips.[br]+ Fixed the bug where research was not being cancelled when going too[br]far over budget.[br][br]Other Changes and Additions:[br]+ Build screen now sorts available ship classes, and only shows[br]classes that you have designs for.[br]+ Implemented Smart Nanite effects.[br]+ Stealth armor on all sections now correctly reduces sensor signature in strat.[br]+ Full functionality for Liir battlecruisers and battleships.[br]+ Full functionality for mines and cracker COLs.[br]+ Improved grappling hook physics.[br]+ Effective ranges for ships used in stance positioning no longer[br]include PD weapons unless requested.[br]+ Numerous ship section, weapon and module data tweaks.[br]+ It is now possible to select a direct route for Zuul bore ships to travel.[br]+ Updated UI for upgrade missions.[br]+ Updated combat UI introducing new cloaking, stance buttons, facing[br]buttons and a priority weapon toggle.[br]+ Fixed some spelling errors in UI.
