A Steam client update is now available. To apply the update, click the File menu inside of Steam and then select "Check for Steam Client Updates...". The specific changes include:
- Fixed backup/restore for games switched to the new content system
- Fixed adding shortcuts to 3rd party games with Unicode path names
- Fixed game configuration overrides from local content servers
- Fixed stats and achievements getting out of sync with the community for users with slow internet connections
- Fixed bug where dates of friend player names weren't shown in game overlay
- Fixed crash in "Create New Account" dialog
